Business and HR podcast returns with workplace health advice

Talking Work and Health, the podcast series for business and HR leaders focused on workplace health and wellbeing returns for a third series on April 8.

The popular series, produced by Health Management, aims to share practical insights and explore workplace health topics in an informal, accessible way, and has covered more than 20 HR and business-related topics since it began in 2020. It is co-hosted by Liam Sloan and Dr Mark Simpson, one of the UK’s leading Consultant Occupational Health Physicians who has been advising many of the country’s largest employers throughout the pandemic.

Featuring contributions from health experts, charities and public bodies, the new series will examine the outlook for a return to post-pandemic working life, as well as covering topical subjects including the ‘gig economy’, workplace bullying, problem gambling, HIV and more.

The first podcast episode of the new series, which will be available from today, reviews the important workforce developments over the past year and examines what the vaccination rollout and the withdrawal of lockdown restrictions could mean for UK businesses in the months ahead.

Speaking about the new series, Dr Simpson said;

“With UK businesses adopting new working habits and preparing for further changes as restrictions are eased, getting expert workplace health advice remains vital. We’ve assembled an excellent line-up of guests for the new series, which will offer listeners a wealth of practical insights on workplace health challenges”.

The podcasts will be published weekly and can be found on iTunes, Spotify and other podcast platforms.
