What will your workforce learn?

  • A broad understanding of disability, its legal definition and social context
  • An introduction to a some of the most common conditions and their symptoms
  • The role of a Disability Champion, including how to sensitively discuss disability and health in the workplace
  • How Disability Champions can support each other, increase disability awareness in their organisation and signpost colleagues to support services

Information specific to your company can be added throughout the course, making it more specific to your workplace.


Who this course is for

Disability Champions should be colleagues passionate about disability and health. The roles are voluntary, carried out above-and-beyond regular duties, with managers’ agreement.
